Nice and clean and very friendly staff speaking several languages. Nice pool area
No wifi beaches full of stones
The breakfast buffet was excelllent. Staff - v. friendly. Good facilities in neighbouring hotels for children.
We were in a room by the bar - so very noisy at night especially with the entertainment being on - not ideal for children. Could not move unless we went to two separate rooms.
The hotel staff was helpful; the breakfast was very good indeed.
Nice room, really nice bathroom. helpful staff. good facilities.. liked the washing line outside... very useful.
Not complains but a few thing that could be improved... I think you should make it clear that you have to get a bus into the old town. (A path from the hotel to the bus stop would be nice.) Breakfast was good, but more veg options like fried potatoes or hash browns would have been good. I cant eat wheat and am Veg so it was tricky.
Although the Tirena is 3-star it is spotlessly clean and in a great location. It's only a few minutes walk to the copacabana beach and there's a regular bus service to the old town which stops right outside.
The only negative thing I can think of is that the pool was Freezing! That wouldn't stop me going back though.
Nice facilities, breakfast, location easy to bus and helpful staff nice surroundings and park.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool and beach were both great. The food was not great but it was good, honest cooking, good variety in the buffet and value for money. The singer who was at the pool party dinner was fantastic and he had beautiful voice - a bonus.
No ambience to this concrete box. The architect should be very apologetic for the lack of imagination in the design. The main dining area is large and , catering for the masses. It was bit far from the old town and although the public bus service was quite regular, the busses were not air-conditioned and it was stifling.
The personnal is professional, the hotel is clean, the food is excellent and buffet breakfast includes large selection of dishes. The location is great: in a peaceful area, not far from the old city and the beach neaby.
Parking is a bit far from the hotel. When you have breakfast or lunch at the terrasse, cats beg for food.
Great location, four beaches in walking distance (inc. Lapad beach, nice walking path along the sea 10 min). Number 6 bus takes 10-20 minutes to old town and was always on time. Though very crowded especially in evening on its way back. Tour desk, where you can get i.e. Dubrovnik card, at the hotel. Shopping centre with restaurants, cafes and minimarkets right next to the hotel. Very comfortable and functional room, bed great even for our bad backs. AC conveniently not too efficient. Very good breakfast and buffet dinner.
The pool was open only till 6 pm, should be open later. Breakfast could be served till later on weekends (ends at 10 every day). Shower water pressure was non-existent.
Good location with easy access to Old Town, selection of sister hotels and restaurants within walking distance, very clean and comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast and friendly professional staff
Rather a maze, no lift down to dining rooms
Very friendly staff and customerd
Parking available .Wifi available Bus stop very convenient to go to Old Town Although you need to,pay 12 Kunas each time you go Clean and other hotels close walking distance you can go to for a drink with a view Also walking distance to a beach called Copaccabana although signs could be better to head to the beach A little confusing Breakfast good Large variety
The doors You can hear people walking by your door at 7am going to Breakfast since this is a Hotel that seems to cater to groups speaking in a loud voice and you can hear them opening and closing their doors Maybe they need. To change their doors to sound proof ones We stayed there for two nights when we wanted to extend our stay for a third night the receptionist said it was NOT available but I was able to book the third night through Bookings .com However having checked Booked.net they had a lower rate then you guys next check better check BOTH sites before booking
Relaxed athmosrere. Good food. Very clean .convenient to city. quiet at night householdstaff and resturant staff friendly and helpful.
I didnt find staff at reception very friendly or helpful and their english was limited. When we arrived we were not given much information about the facilities in the hotel or in the general locality. For example. The hairdryer in our room was in a drawer which we didnt open and we were informed after 4 days in the hotel. On arrival our bags were taken to our room and left outside the door. We found it difficult to find the room ourselves. I feel weshould have been escorted to the room on arrival. Corridores long and confusing for older people. When we were leaving we had to pull our luggage upa flight of stairs ourselves as there was no lift and staff did not offer any assistance. That was very difficult as i have a back problem
Nice quiet location within easy reach of the beach. Our room was quiet with a lovely sea and mountain view. Nice pool area. Good food at breakfast and evening buffet that was reasonably priced.
Quite pricey at over £110 per night b & b for a 3 star hotel.
We attended a wedding in Dubrovnik and unfortunately we were the wrong end of town for the function. I sent an email asking the location but had no reply.(I was told that the email box was full) so no one answers emails I presume. On the plus side we found the hotel to be great value, lovely swimming pool very friendly staff and the breakfast was as good as any we have had in other hotels. Colin Fortnam.
